RobMusement is now on Blogger! You should see the bitchin' A banner and setup! Same great content, though. Lots and lots of Robalicious RobPorn.
I have tried to resist the lure of fanfic, but itsjustme has made me sneak over and look at the one-shots. She has great taste, especially if you're a lemon-y person!

Falling Down on the Job
I've been reading other blogs and slobbering over the Robalicious photos but, sadly, can't think of a single thing to say that I haven't already said. However, I have noticed that in photos of Rob (drool) where he isn't smiling, he looks like he's about 30. That remowes the "ew" factor of slobbering over him. When he smiles, he looks his age or younger. Interesting. Tortured Heathcliff look with scruff = 30 years old-ish and not as awkward to save photos on my hard drive. Clean-shaven and laughing = "He's hott but young enough to be...much younger than me. Ew. So Rob, instead of what I've said in the past, keep up the scruff. We'll all feel less guilty that way!!

Blah
Need to go to New Moon again so I can think of smartass comments to make about it but probably will wait for the DVD. I may try some Rob drawings. If I do them, I'll only post good ones. That's if I get around to doing them! I'm pretty good at sketching people or so I've been told. All I'll need is a black & white photo to work from and there are tons of them on my hard drive!
In the meantime, I'll be waiting for the 6th Harry Potter movie. Didn't get to the theatre to see it (time and money never seemed to coincide) so am eagerly awaiting it! Hoping for the Star Trek DVD for Christmas too! That movie was pretty interesting - can't wait to see it again! Interesting premise, I think.

Stuff We Don't Like (and something we do like)
Well, the consensus seems to be that the Alice's vision of B & E pretty much does what a vacuum cleaner does! Have to agree, as I've said before. Just whose ass that one was pulled out of is beyond me! Talk about some serious asshattery involved...!
And yes, some of the Wolf Pack could have done with developing some six-packs. Taycob and the other guy (sorry, hot wolf guy, can't remember your name) with the cut abs really made the other wolves look a little sloppy!
The whirlwind of Rob interviews and photos is probably, sadly, about over. Gotta admit I am tired of the "no comment" angle on the Robsten issue. Who cares anymore anyway? I sure don't. My guess is that since neither of them will say, it is or it was but is no longer (that's what she said). Again, I say, Rob: shave every 2 or 3 days. Four days is just too scruffy.

More Movie Thoughts
I agree with most of Jenny's review on Twitarded except I kinda liked Alice's clothes.
I have to admit that KStew's performance was really good. She managed to look sad without eye-fluttering (that I noticed). I like how Chris Weitz got so many things right: the passage of time during Bella's semi-catatonic months, Volterra, the nearly perfect synchronization of the soundtrack with the scenes, and the wolves. I don't like: Edward's wardrobe and the weird Disney/Sound of Music-ness of Alice's vision of Edward and Bella (presumably from BD).
The movie made me sad for a couple of days. Bella's misery was portrayed quite well and it was hard to separate myself from that sadness (I sometimes over-empathize with intense emotions in movies). Not many movies have this impact on me. I appreciate it when they do.

Saw the Moooooovie
Did I like it? Absolutely in some parts; not so much in other parts. Did it make me cry? Definitely. Even though I've read New Moon and was ready for it, the scene where Edward leaves Bella hit me hard. Every time I watch Bella collapse in the forest I'm going to cry my eyes out so I'd rather do that at home so will def get the DVD but probably won't go to see it in the theatre again. This was Taycob's movie - the kid did an awesome job. Robward was...glittery. Very glittery. Great scenes with the Volturi though. Very elegant and completely scary. I did not like watching Edward get beat up! I love the soundtrack. It fits the movie quite well. Some of the music made me sad before I even knew what parts it went with.
I'm glad I went to an afternoon matinee to see it but I think I'll go the first day when Eclipse opens. It'll be more fun with more fans there. The theatre I saw it in was 2/3 empty so there wasn't any screaming or squeeing. Kinda boring, actually. I did hear laughter when I held Pocket Edward up to the screen to take his picture. But I'm okay with that.
